- FRANCE. Equestrian Monument to Napoleon I Silver & Bronze Medal Set (2 Pieces), 1852. Paris Mint. Both PCGS SPECIMEN-65 Certified. Both pieces--Obverse: Equestrian monument of Napoleon I right, with heavily decorated base; Reverse: Altar surmounted by coat-of-arms and with cherub supporters; information pertaining to those involved in the monument listed above. Silver and bronzed copper, the former offering immense radiance and a delightful iridescent nature to the toning, the latter presenting sublime field luster and a largely chocolate nature to the brown surfaces.
