- 1795 Liberty Cap Cent. S-74. Rarity-4. Lettered Edge. AU-50 (PCGS). Attractive dark brown patina with tiny raised verdigris on the reverse with glossy reflectivity in the fields. The strike is sharp and all lettering and devices are crystal clear. Slightly lighter copper on the devices as the natural toning effects settled more into the fields. No surface bumps or bruises, and close examination is needed to find a few shallow scratches. Thin die cracks extend in the reverse legends.
