Winesteven’s Two Cent Set, 100% CAC, 50% RD, 70% w/Pluses

关于此套币: I like the advantages of putting together sets with limited slots. This is a 10 coin set. Every coin merits a CAC sticker, half the coins are Red, and 70% merit a Plus grade!

As most collectors know, coins with an RB (Red Brown) suffix can have as little as only 5% Red and still qualify for that RB suffix. Coins that are at least 95% Red get the RD (Red) suffix. As such, where my budget did not allow me to afford a RD coin, I then wanted to make sure the RB coins I chose for those slots each had a LOT of red, rather than containing a much lower amount closer to the 5% minimum.

Many collectors may not be aware, but it was the Two Cent piece, in 1864, that was the first U.S. coinage to show the motto “In God We Trust”. Another tidbit of interest for me is that these early pieces were minted and used during the Civil War!
