Thanks for the tip. I researched the Simpson coin and the other 3 PCGS MS66RD’s as best as I could, and I agree I see no coin graded higher than mine with a CAC. HOWEVER, NGC pops show they graded two 1869 coins as MS66RD. It could be one of those.
Hi winesteven - re: your 1969. You say there is one CAC piece higher, but I think its a ghost. Before his sale, Simpson's '69 was the only 66(+) CAC piece. Then it upgraded to 67 not CAC. So I think the 66 still showing in CAC no longer exists.

You may be right about it being an NGC coin. In any case, there are now two 66Reds listed as CAC!
