For 1938, the venerable and popular Buffalo Nickel was replaced by the Jefferson Nickel, reducing somewhat the "vintage" look of the Proof Set. However with a Merc and a Walker still on board, it remains a set most worthy of undertaking. PR68 examples of all denominations but the Cent are available, but he Quarter will prove elusive.
