1866 Proof Set 全部各时代最优列表

The 1866 Proof set was the first to include the five cent nickel piece. It also marked the addition of the motto "In God We Trust" over the eagle on the reverse of the nation's larger silver coinage. Even though the war had ended, production of the minor coins for circulation was considerably lower than it had been during the previous few years. Proof mintage however was not affected, and this year's mintage of 725 pieces is fairly typical.
