Adding major varieties brings some five-figure coins into the mix. A 1916 Doubled Die Nickel and the 1918/7-D Nickel will both set you back over $25,000 in any mint state grade. A few Shield Nickel overdates (1866/66 and 1883/2) and the 1937-D 3-legged Buffalo nickel also make this set an interesting challenge.
