Indian Head $10 Gold Date Set, Circulation Strikes (1907-1933)

One might expect that a Date set of a rather short-lived series would be a fairly easy set to complete. Unfortunately, that's not the case here as there are three dates that were struck only at one mint, and on top of that, were heavily melted. This has resulted in the somewhat unusual situation of the Date set being almost as difficult to complete as the Basic set. The unquestioned key to this set is naturally the 1933, which saw virtually its entire mintage melted at the mint prior to release. Similarly, the 1920-S and 1930-S saw heavy melting and are mid-five figure coins in high circulated grades. One Registry set has been completed, but has since been sold, leaving no complete sets currently active.
