How did this survive in great mint state for over 120 years. Swirling

1926 $2.50 MS65 PCGS #7950

GREAT! This is a beautiful VERY high end coin. This treasure is housed in an older blue tag holder. Superior surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Even the dreaded right reverse is exceptionally clean. A wonderful glowing luster is spread all over. Both sides have pretty and totally original deep yellow gold. There is a hint of orange gold on the reverse. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and delicate frost. The eye appeal is super fabulous! PCGS 906, NGC 704, CAC 103. The current WHOLESALE sight UNSEEN BID is now $2,525.00 with NONE being traded. Good luck find any near that price. On 11/2024 a PCGS CAC piece sod for $3,120.00. The current Collectors Universe value is clearly outdated. This coin really should NOT be compared to average examples of the grade. In this market this coin is a very good deal! CAC LEGEND

1906-D $5 MS65 PCGS #8414

High end, yellow golden skin, satin luster. Save for once light scuff, this coin would be an MS66. What a coin! Overall, the surfaces are full GEM quality and are super clean. There is one small scuff on the obverse. A bold glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are a GEM original deeper gold with pale greenish gold highlights. There are NO discolorations or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is terrific! PCGS 70, NGC 66, CAC 19. It is a myth this date in common-especially with a CAC bean. The last PCGS MS65 CAC piece to sell in auction brought $3,593.00 04/2012. That is SEVEN long years ago! Legend CAC verified

Shimmering Gold Eye Appeal with Great luster. Minor marks on sun rays and the Fields are pristine. 1928 Saint-Gaudens Twenty, PCGS MS66+ 1928 $20 MS66+ PCGS. A bold strike and deep, frosty mint luster team with shimmering fields of honey-gold on this remarkably well-preserved double eagle. This Plus-graded Premium Gem yields a dazzling cartwheel effect, and while it is free of noticeable imperfections, some high points on Liberty reflect faint hints of contact upon magnification, which are minor and do not detract from the overall exceptional eye appeal. Examples in the grade are typically plentiful and often sought after by type collectors, while finer examples become elusive.
