Grade: Good 04 (G-04). ANA Description: Heavily worn. Major design elements are visible, but with faintness in areas. Head of Liberty, wreath, and other major features, as applicable, are visible in outline form, without center detail. Rims may be incomplete in spots. PCGS Description: Rims mostly full but may be flat or slightly worn into peripheral letters in spots.
Grade: Almost Uncirculated 55 (AU-55 ) ANA Description: Three-fourths of the original mint luster remains. PCGS Description: Full detail, with light friction on the high points. Considerable luster remains.

Noticeable, light, scuff marks or defects may be seen within the design or in the field. Attractive overall quality with a pleasing eye appeal. PCGS Description: Average or better strike with scattered marks or hairlines, though none severe.

Grade: Almost Uncirculated 50 (AU-50) ANA Description: Traces of wear at the highest points of the coin. At least half of the original mint luster remains. PCGS Description: Trace of wear now seen on higher points of design. Bits of luster may remain.
This Superb Gem features strong luster and beautiful surfaces which are highlighted by stunning rainbow rim toning on both the obverse and reverse. At the time of its' acquisition, this was one of 44 PCGS-graded MS67 coins, with none graded numerically higher (9 in MS67+).
