This is a set I envisioned putting together between 20 and 30 years ago. I am by no means an expert on Canadian Coinage but love the Canadian Large Cents which are the only denomination of Canadian coinage I have some knowledge of and focus on. I finally started forming this set this year even though I have bought most of the coins decades ago... This is evident as a group in this set which are mostly AU58 coins were purchased in a Heritage Auction back in 2010 and put away in the bank for the past 15+ years! I planned on working on an all AU-58 set sometime in the future, but needed to learn more about the series, and like the saying; "Time Flies".... time got away from me, but finally the set is slowly taking shape... Enjoy!

One came through a Canadian auction in an ICCS holder a few months ago. As I said, very scarce, not impossible.
The 1858 FV, 15 stems is a very scarce, but not rare coin. It only came to light about ten years ago when it was published in Charlton. The issue is not that they cannot be found, it is that not many have been submitted to PCGS.
