On the 25th of March 2025 and using my ELIKLIV microscope and Vantage 10X loupe, I examined this coin and describe it thusly. The Obverse has 3 diagonal marks of 2 directions with the largest starting just on the ear and all to the right of the face, light marking above the "LIB" of "LIBERTY", a light scratch just beside the hair to the left of "GOD", 2 small dings on the bottom of the "7" of the date, scarring from a rub between the coat, the date, and the mint mark, a light diagonal scratch on the cheek to the left of the mouth, a light diagonal scratch below the left eye, a mark on the bridge of the nose, a double vertical mark below the right eye. I see no toning, spotting, or cloudiness. The Reverse a vertical mark below the "M" of "MONTICELLO", a mark below the "N" of "MONTICELLO", numerous diagonal scratches at the rim edge below the "E" of "E PLURIBUS", numerous marks and scratches below the "E PLURIBUS" and above the dome, a vertical mark starting on the upper steps and coming up on the left side of the 2nd column from the left. I see no toning, spotting, or cloudiness. This is a coin with definite full 6 steps as there is no weakness to be seen. This is a very nice coin with absolute 6 Full steps but it does have a high amount of marks and scratches for a MS66 graded coin. This coin is held in a PCGS Generation 4.4 holder used from 2005 to 2011 and is the last holder used before PCGS went to the Tri-View holder.

The 2007-P Jefferson Nickel is really common as it was struck in the hundreds of millions. However in MS66 condition with Full Steps it appears to be scarce with a few hundred examples known more or less. There are no MS67 examples with Full Steps despite being a very common coin.
