Scriptwriter - You find a lot of different sellers on eBay and some have unusual names. Maybe this one wrote a famous movie...who knows? This is a surprisingly difficult date to find in high grades and you would spend a fortune for a 67RD. There are less than a dozen in existence at PCGS. This 65RD looks fine to me and I can't tell it from a 66RD. In fact, it is finer than some of my 66 red examples. 12/16 EVH

The 1948-P Lincoln cent is very difficult to find in grades of MS65 and higher.

In grades of MS66, it compares to the 1946P, 47P, 49P, 50P, 51P, 52P and 53P.

In MS67 grades the 1948-P is almost unheard of, with less than 10 exmples known and none being higher.
