Attractive Radiant luster, deserving of plus grade, and high end- looks Gem. Have a handpicked sweet and totally original coin here. The surfaces are a thick satiny texture and are above average in cleanliness. Using a strong glass you can find a minute tick or two. The luster is thick and enlivens the totally original gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 4114, NGC 3366, CAC 341. PCGS has graded 205 in MS64+. By a considerable margin, the 1904-S is the most common Liberty Head Double Eagle from the San Francisco Mint. It is also one of the eight or ten most common dates in the entire Liberty Head series. The 1904-S is readily available in all grades up to and including choice uncirculated. Only in gem condition can the 1904-S be considered scarce and even at that level there are a substantial number of pieces known.
