EEPS. CAC. PDS: (14: 4,5,5). 60%RD. RPD FS-302. The finest known example! It is a GEM & a very early die state. This variety is very scarce & none are graded higher nor in full RD. It was originally thought to be a second 1888/7 variety, but is rather a bold repunched 1888/888, as well as a misplaced digit with a “1” sticking out of the first pearl. This is die state A/A & is the earliest die state known.
