A thousand year old silver coin the size of a nickel from Bohemia in Mint State with lots of luster under the multi color toning. How did it survive?
Bought this coin from Steve Ivy in 1979. Incredible luster with semi PL surfaces.
This coin, when you look up "Half Dollars" under the PCGS Price Guide and Coin Facts tabs, is the "Walker" shown. It is graded Proof 67+.
Mintage of 42,738 includes both varieties. In my opinion a '53' coin, not a '50', the reverse is weakly struck.
Mintage of 79,920. First dollar I bought from the late Jim McGuigan.
