This came from my baby bank and cleaned by me as a child once the bank was breached. The first time I sent this coin in for grading at PCGS it came back unencapsulated with 'DDO with XF Details Cleaned'. This time when sent to PCGS for grading and encapsulating, for some poorly explained reason, was unable to get DDO associated with this coin.

This is the first Seated Liberty coin I ever owned. Nice, white, clean with a strong strike and lots of luster. Some scuffs are visible on slab, not coin. 15,310,000 minted. PCGS pop of 667 as of 3/6/2007.

Not that I don't like this coin, I do. I find it rather nice for the grade. No distracting marks and a light green tone in the fields on both sides. I will, when I find an upgrade, buy it, but until then this is a very fine example, 2,650,000 minted.

Came from my baby bank when I cracked it open. So I have had it since 1956. I personally cleaned this as a child once the bank was breached! 1,414,800 minted.

Originally graded AU55. PCGS Secure regrading bumped it to AU58. Maybe next time it will get a MS grade. It was sold to me raw as a MS63 which I did not believe. But the coin is nice and I kept it anyway. 2,644,000 minted.

A 1915 was the first Indian Qtr Eagle I bought. It was an XF45. It is a nice coin and got me hooked on this series. But becasue it's an XF45, I felt obligated to upgrade it to MS62. 606,000 minted.
