2014 Proof Set with Gold

Since the advent of the State Quarter Program in 1999, the size of the ultra modern proof sets has grown tremendously. The 24-piece set for 2014 includes of course both the clad and silver versions of the America the Beautiful quarter series as well as the four Presidential Dollar coins and the Native American Dollar. Unique to the 2014 set are the special strikings commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Half dollar. Included are silver versions from three mints; P, S and W, as well as a special striking in gold from the West Point facility. With a mintage of only 70,000, it is almost certain to be a key to the Kennedy set.
