Washington Quarter Commemorative Series Basic Set, Circulation Strikes and Satin Finish (2009 to Present)

Following the State Quarter series of 1999-2008 came two series of Commemorative Issues: the U.S. Territories and the America the Beautiful Program which featured sites of natural or historical significance. During the first two years, the Philadelphia and Denver mints issued special satin finish strikings. Because these are new coins, acquiring an example will not prove difficult. However, getting the finest examples will provide a challenge. So far, only one collector has managed a set rating over 67, but several are close!
