U.S. Quarters Complete Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1796-present)

The Basic set adds the mintmarked issues to the Date set, so in addition to the 1796, 1804 and 1823/2 discussed in the Date set, the CC mintmarked coins of the early 1870s will present the greatest challenge. The No Arrows 1873-CC is a major rarity, and with only 4-5 known (and a PCGS population of 3) will likely preclude 100% completion. Some "S" mints from the Civil War era are also key dates to watch for as is the 1901-S Barber Quarter. In the Standing Liberty series, the 1916 is a tough coin, and in the Washingtons, the 1932-D is the scarcest.
