WW2 Australian coins from U.S. and India mints
描述:
During World War 2 the two Australian mints (Melbourne and Perth) were unable to meet the demand for Australian coins and some were minted in San Francisco, Denver and Bombay. The Indian copper is easily identified by the letter 'I' on the obverse and dots on each end of the words .HALF PENNY. and .PENNY. and the U.S. silver by the letter 'S' or 'D' on the reverse.
