The purpose of this set is to acquire coins that were minted the birth years of my ancestors as far back as I can research. Most of my ancestors came from England, Ireland, and Scotland, but also France, the Netherlands, Germany and even Russia.

One of the reasons that I love coin collecting so much is the history that comes with the coins. Wondering who may have held/spent the coin in the past - wondering how the coin has travelled - globally or not. This collection is superb. Thank you!
