My 3 Favorite Gold Coins (and why)

描述: Currently, my three favorite coins are a 1910 MS63 St. Gaudens; a 1908 OGH MS62 Indian Half; and an unassuming 1892-S AU58 Liberty Half. The Saint was my "gateway" coin that started me down the road into collecting pre-1933 US gold coinage. Sadly, when I was much younger, I had to sell a 1928 MS64 to pay for some bills. This was at a time when gold was around $800/ounce. When gold went up, it left a bitter taste in my mouth and I thought I would never have another again. However, ten years later, I purchased this 1910 and have again caught the 'gold bug' and have since added many gold coins. The Indian half is special to me because it was the first OGH slabbed gold coin I got and led me to appreciate older generation holders. Lastly, the 1892-S Half started me into my current interest, which is collecting coins from different branch mints and learning their history.
