RJP Rattler Collection

描述: This has been alot of fun to build, just finding the old rattler holders are a challenge and you never know where you will find one or where it will take you. The sets can still use some upgrades and out of Approx 1.6 million rattlers, they could be out there. I would like to find a population report dated in the early 1990 to see what was graded and might still be available today. I will be adding other rattler sets as I get the time. Part of the fun was looking for the Morgan dollar 1881-S rattlers, which are quite common but I have found AU-58 thru MS-66, and did the grading set, the MS-67 just cost too much. I have a half roll of 1881-S in serial number order. Also keep a look out for the rattler boxes they are quite hard to find but are out there.
Since the rattlers were started in 1986 and continued thru 1989 finding a coin dated 1986-89 in a rattler is rare but I have three Silver Eagles date 1986, I am glad someone was interested enough to have them graded at PCGS in the late eighties.
