Unusual and Unique Buffalo Nickels: All Error, Die Variety Error and Unique Buffalo Nickel Set

描述: I am attempting to build a Basic Buffalo Nickel "Error" Set which contains at least one unusual example of all 64 coins. However, I will only use Mint Errors, Die Variety Errors and Unique Buffalo Nickels. No "Normal" Buffalo Nickel Business Strikes will be used. This set will have Off Metal Errors, Broadstruck Errors, Off Center Strikes, Proof Like Specimens and the like. It will also contain all 8 Major Die Variety Errors plus some Regular and Minor Die Variety Errors such as the 3 1/2 Legger , Two Feathers, No F's (Missing Designer Initial), Overdates, DDO's and DDR's etc. I will try to limit things like Lamination and Strike Through Errors, and 2 1/2 Feather Varieties as I do not get very excited over these. Additionally, there will be coins with Mint Errors and Die Variety Errors on the same coin. I currently have at lease one example of 56 of the 64 Buffalo Nickels. Eight to Go!

As this set maturers, It will also contain at least one example of all known Die Variety Errors, that is: Major, Regular and Minor varieties and the balance will be all basic mint errors, which I love. So along with the standard type errors such as Off Metal Buffalos, Off Center Strikes and Broadstruck Buffalos, I will have the occasional way out there error such as the "Dropped Digits Error" as in the 1919 Buffalo Nickel and the 1936 Double Strike 50% Flip Over. This set also has a few Dateless Buffalo Nickels in Mint State condition. This set will never stop changing as new and exciting errors are found every year.
