My Favorite Bust Half Dollars

描述: Slowly, my set of capped bust half dollars has been coming together. I love the history behind the coin and the story that each coin tells. I also really love the classic bust design - something about the iconic busts on early 19th century US coinage has always been a draw for me. These examples from my collection are beautiful circulated coins with pleasant toning, and they all have significant detail to enjoy. These coins deserve to be loved, and I'm proud to be able to showcase them as representative from my collection.

Oh, and some may wonder about #10 in my showcase, and why I've included it here. The 1806 bust half dollar was my first big coin purchase that really got me hooked on collecting classic coins. It's not a big dollar coin, especially in the VG grade, but at the time it was a stretch purchase for me and it will always hold a special place in my collection for that reason.
