Penny, 1858 over 3 [?], OT, reads DEF-:, 18.66g, 1h (Adams 138; Pywell-Phillips -; Bramah 25c; BMC Peck 1515; S.3948), obverse surfaces quite prooflike with patination masking original mint red lustre, good extremely fine, rare thus. Proof Crown, 1935, edge raised xxv, 28.24g/12h (ESC 3655 [378]; S 4050). In 0.925 silver. A few light hairlines, slightly cloudy reverse field, superb deep cameo finish to devices; in red box of issue [2500 issued]. Purchased DNW 185, Lot 335 (12-01-2020).
0.500 Silver, BU. Purchased fresh from the Royal Mint in 1986 and transferred directly from the Royal Mint capsule to the PCGS submission flip. Graded "UNC details - cleaned", it has never been cleaned or wiped. This was a unique BU issue from the Royal Mint struck in 0.500 silver and, like online images of other examples, has the appearance of extensive die polish hairlines.across the fields on both sides of the coin. One example graded by NGC as MS 68 that sold on Ebay has a similar appearance with hairlined fields. The TrueView images were taken with lighting usually used for proof issues, resulting in matte-like images. The coin is actually more like a glossy BU issue in hand as seen in the second photo.
Little evidence of actual wear, but light contact marks dulling luster to obverse - more like an MS 62
William III Halfcrown, 1700 DVODECIMO, First laureate and draped bust right, rev. modified large crowned shields cruciform (ESC 1043 (561); S-3494), some faint haymarking on obverse, nonetheless a well struck example with luster and attractive iridescent tone in peripheries, extremely fine or better.
William & Mary Crown, 1692. Conjoined busts right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, interlinked WM in angles, edge QVARTO, (S.3433, ESC.822). Attractively toned, slightly softly struck on the higher points of the hair as usual due to the shallow relief of the busts, the reverse strong with some original brilliance, overall nearly extremely fine. Weakly struck at 9 o'clock to obverse legend and corresponding location to reverse, otherwise well struck for issue with minimal adjustment marks or haymarks.

Shilling, 1758, older laureate, cuirassed and draped bust left, rev. eight strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.99g, 6h (Bull 1734; ESC 1213; Spink 3704), choice and highly lustrous, good extremely fine, the reverse much as struck. Extremely rare I of "DEI" to space proof variety obtained by chance through a raw 1953 set purchased on eBay. Most of the few PCGS certified examples are actually the common I of "DEI" to bead variety since the variety identification in the Spink catalog is recent, with the more common variety then gaining a different catalog number (S-4137A). This can be seen in current set registries claiming this rare variety .
George II Halfcrown, 1741 over 39 DECIMO QVARTO, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, 15.07g, 7h (Bull 1682; ESC 601A; Adams 545; Spink 3693), a truly sublime example with only the faintest trace of die wear to highest points and a small die break through O of GEORGIVS, otherwise delightfully toned and handsomely balanced, lustrous and much as struck, rare thus.
