I love Seated Halves. The prices dropped this year so I was able to add a handful of truly beautiful coins. I believe these are undervalued and buy coins with top eye appeal that are not for this set.

2015 CAC DATE SET
MS Seated Halves are under-appreciated. They are one hundred and fifty years old beautiful. I believe the reason that there are not many complete or even date sets is that the top grades are too expensive. Also some come somewhat dull. I try not to purchase those.
I doubt that I will try to build a complete set. The date set allows me to purchase stunning examples of coins that I love.

Thanks for your kind words! Took awhile and I am still working on it. After all these years I have concluded that date sets are much better than a full set. It allows me to buy only the most beautiful coins and not worrk about all the mint marks needed for the full set. I wish I did this with other sets, I believe seated halves are significantly undervalued. They are one hundred and fifty years old and great coins.
